MITHAQ is for adults looking for a serious, respectful connection. This page brings together the main safety rules and tools in the app. It supplements our Terms of Use.
Adults only (18+)
The service is for people aged 18 and over only. Every user confirms their age at sign-up.
She approves first
Women’s profiles cannot be browsed. She chooses whom to approve for contact, and contact is possible only after she approves.
Report and block
- Every profile and every chat has options to report and to block.
- A reported account is temporarily suspended until a moderator reviews the report. The suspension is a precautionary measure, not a finding that the rules were broken. If no breach is found, the account is reinstated.
- Users found to have violated the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines may be permanently banned.
Protection in the app
- Offensive words in profiles are filtered automatically.
- Screenshots are blocked in the app. This does not guarantee that content can never be copied or captured in another way.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, and any such content or conduct is prohibited. When we become aware of it, we act to remove the content, restrict the account involved and report to the competent authorities as required by law. See section 9.1 of the Terms of Use.
To report a concern, use the reporting tools in the app or email support@mithaq-connect.com with the subject “Child safety”. Do not attach, re-download or share such material.
