How it works
A straightforward process that respects everyone’s time — one step at a time.
Step one — her
She browses & grants access
A woman's profile is hidden by default. She browses men's profiles and grants "Access" to those she finds relevant — up to five per 24 hours. No man sees her until she decides.
Step two — him
He requests — she approves
A man she approved sees only a blurred preview. He can request to open her full profile — and she decides who gets to see her. Only serious members proceed.
Step three — together
Mutual interest → encrypted chat
When both are interested, an end-to-end encrypted chat opens (E2EE). He sends the first message. The choice to continue is always hers.

Hidden Profile by Default
The moment you create an account your profile does not appear in any feed and cannot be searched. No man knows you exist until you choose.
You Browse — They Don't
You can freely scroll, read, and explore men's profiles without restriction. They receive no notification and cannot see that you visited.
Grant Access — Up to 5 per 24 Hours
Found someone relevant? Tap Grant Access. He will know a woman approved him — but only as a blurred preview, until he requests to open the full profile and you approve.
Chat Opens Only on Mutual Interest
If the man chooses to open your profile and there is mutual interest, the chat unlocks. He sends the first message — and you always have the power to close it.
For women — free forever. No subscription.
Blurred Previews Only
A man does not get an open browsing feed. He only sees blurred cards of women who have already granted him access.
Request to Open — Only With Her Approval
To see the full profile and open a conversation, the man requests to open it — and she alone approves who may see her. No granted access — no unlock.
Grant Access can be issued up to 5 times per 24-hour rolling window.

Privacy is not a feature — it is the foundation
Every layer of Mithaq is designed to protect our users — especially women.
ID / Liveness Verification
Sumsub-powered liveness check verified against a government-issued ID. Every account — man or woman — must pass verification before the profile goes live.
End-to-End Encrypted Chat
Chat is encrypted with Virgil E3Kit — messages are encrypted client-side. We are physically unable to read any message. Screenshot blocking is enforced inside chat.
Anonymity Before Match
A man only sees a city, age range, and interest tags — until the woman actively grants him access. No man can freely browse women's profiles.
Full Deletion Within 24 Hours
An account-deletion request purges data from all external providers (Stream, Virgil, Sumsub, Mixpanel). The phone number is released after a 24-hour cooldown.
Data Hosted in the EU
All data is stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany — subject to European GDPR regulation. Photos are accessible only via time-limited signed URLs.
User data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt). Server cannot access chat content.

Who can see my profile?
Your profile is hidden by default (Hidden Mode). No man sees you in any feed. Only a man you explicitly grant access to will see a blurred preview. He can request to open your full profile, and you decide who gets to see you.Are my messages encrypted?
Yes. All chat is end-to-end encrypted using Virgil E3Kit. Even Mithaq itself cannot read the content of your messages.How does identity verification work?
We use Sumsub for ID and liveness verification with a live selfie. This step is mandatory before a profile is activated, which dramatically reduces fake accounts.What happens to my data if I delete my account?
