The Arab community in Israel deserves a matchmaking platform that genuinely understands its values. Most existing apps were not built with this community in mind — they do not account for the cultural, religious, and social dynamics that shape how relationships form within it.
Mithaq was created to fill that gap. Our features — Hidden Mode for women, woman-approved access to her profile, filters for religion and travel-time distance — were each designed specifically for this community and for the way meaningful relationships develop within it.
Mithaq Technologies Ltd. operates out of Israel. All user data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany, in full compliance with GDPR.

She Approves Who Sees Her
Every woman's profile is hidden by default. She — and only she — decides who can see her and reach out to her. This is not a feature toggle; it is the foundation of the product.
Genuine Privacy
Chat is end-to-end encrypted — we cannot read messages. Photos are accessible only via short-lived signed URLs. All user data is stored in the EU.
Cultural Respect
Mithaq was designed for Muslims, Christians, and Druze in Israel. Filters, interface language, and matching logic all reflect the values, traditions, and social realities of these communities.
Serious Intentions
Mithaq is not a swipe-based browsing app. Every product decision — mandatory identity verification, private profiles, the pre-approval flow — is designed to attract users who are genuinely looking for a meaningful relationship.

Mandatory Identity Verification
Every user must pass ID and liveness verification (powered by Sumsub) before contacting other users. Anonymous profiles are not permitted.
End-to-End Encrypted Chat
All chat messages are encrypted using Virgil E3Kit. Mithaq staff have no technical access to the content of user conversations.
EU Data Storage
User data is stored exclusively on servers located in Frankfurt, Germany, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Full Account Deletion Within 24 Hours
Users requesting deletion receive confirmation within 24 hours. Data is purged completely from all third-party systems: Stream, Virgil, Sumsub, and Mixpanel.
Screenshot Protection in Chat
The in-app chat screens are protected against screenshots and screen recordings to further safeguard user privacy.
