1. Definitions

"Service" — the Mithaq mobile application and its associated cloud services, accessible at mithaq-connect.com. "User" — an adult (18+) who has opened an account on Mithaq. "We" / "Mithaq" — Mithaq Technologies Ltd.

2. Eligibility

The Service is available only to users who are 18 years of age or older. By joining, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, legally reside in Israel, and are in a personal status that permits you to seek a new relationship. Providing false information in respect of any of these conditions constitutes a breach of these Terms.

3. The Woman-Controlled Model

Mithaq operates a privacy-first, woman-controlled introductions model. By default, a woman's profile is not shown in any public feed ("Hidden Mode"). Women browse men's profiles independently and may grant access to up to five men per rolling 24-hour period (this limit may be reduced to three in the future). Men do not have access to an open feed of women. A man may only view a limited blurred preview of a woman who has already approved him. He must spend one credit to unlock her full profile and initiate a conversation. If both parties indicate mutual interest, a chat session opens and the man sends the first message.

4. User Conduct

You are solely responsible for all content you upload — including photos, biographical information, and messages. You must not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful to any third party. Mithaq reserves the right to remove content or suspend or terminate any account at any time without prior notice, based on user reports or its own internal assessment. Reselling, transferring, or commercially exploiting any part of the Service or its features is strictly prohibited.

5. Credits and Payments

Credits are purchased exclusively through the official app stores (App Store / Google Play) and are managed via RevenueCat. Credits are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. All refunds are processed exclusively through the respective app store — Mithaq does not process direct refunds except where required by applicable law. Mithaq will issue a refund of credits if identity or liveness verification through Sumsub fails for reasons attributable to Mithaq. Credits have no cash value and may not be transferred between accounts.

6. Information Security

Mithaq applies industry-standard security measures, including: end-to-end encryption of message content (Virgil E3Kit — Mithaq cannot read messages), private photo storage accessible only via time-limited signed URLs, and identity and liveness verification through Sumsub. User data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt region). Phone numbers are released for re-registration only after a 24-hour cooldown following account deletion.

7. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time from within the app or by contacting support@mithaq-connect.com. The deletion request will be executed after a 24-hour cooling-off period. Upon deletion, Mithaq will purge your data from all integrated external providers (Stream, Virgil, Sumsub, Mixpanel) within 24 hours of execution.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Mithaq does not guarantee any specific match, compatibility outcome, or result of any kind. Use of the Service is entirely at the User's own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mithaq's aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for credits in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms is vested in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa.

11. Updates to These Terms

Mithaq may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
